About Fizza
Hi, I'm Fizza! I'm a Chemical Engineering graduate from the American University of Sharjah (2023), and I've always loved the moment when a concept "clicks" for someone — it's honestly my favorite part of teaching.
I tutor high school students in Math, Physics, Biology and Chemistry across the Ontario curriculum, from Grade 9 all the way through Grade 12. Whether you're catching up after a rough term, aiming for a top mark for university applications, or just want these subjects to finally make sense, I'll meet you where you are and build a plan around it.
My engineering background means I don't just know the material — I know how it's used in the real world, which makes even the trickiest topics easier to understand. I keep my lessons patient, structured, and genuinely encouraging, because I believe confidence is just as important as knowledge when it comes to doing well in math and science.
I'd love to help you or your child build both. Send me a message and let's get started!

I focus on understanding why something works, not just memorizing steps. With a Chemical Engineering background, I connect abstract math and science concepts to real, tangible examples so ideas actually stick. I adapt to how each student learns best — some need more visual walkthroughs, others learn by working through problems with guidance.
A Typical Lesson
Check-in — review recent class material and any upcoming tests or assignments
Concept review — re-explain the core idea more intuitively, with examples
Guided practice — work through problems together, increasing in difficulty
Independent practice — student tries a problem solo, then we recap and set a focus for next time
If a foundational gap shows up, we fix that first before moving ahead.
What Sets Me Apart
Engineering background brings real-world context to abstract concepts
Focus on long-term problem-solving skills and exam strategy, not just homework help
Lessons tailored closely to Ontario curriculum course codes
Patient, low-pressure style — mistakes are part of learning
