About Lucia
I’m a passionate Spanish music teacher, singer, and pianist who truly believes in the transformative power of music.
I wasn’t always confident. As a teenager, I was shy and unsure of my voice — until one teacher truly listened to me. That moment changed my life and led me to pursue music seriously at 18. Since then, singing has become a deep connection to myself, and teaching has become my way of helping others discover their own voice.
I teach with empathy, patience, and encouragement. Every student is different, and I respect each person’s pace, personality, and musical interests. My goal is not only to develop strong technique and musical understanding, but also to build confidence and joy in making music.
There is nothing more rewarding than watching students grow — not just as musicians, but as expressive, confident individuals.

I am a classically trained opera singer and experienced music educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in voice, piano, and music theory. My approach is structured yet personalised, combining strong technical foundations with creative and expressive work tailored to each student’s age, personality, and goals.
In voice lessons, we focus on healthy technique, breath support, repertoire, and musical interpretation in a supportive and encouraging environment. In piano lessons, I develop technical skills, musical expression, and stylistic awareness across different genres, always helping students build confidence at the instrument.
I have prepared students for GCSE Music, ABRSM exams, auditions, and performances. I work with children, teenagers, and adults — from complete beginners to advanced musicians — and I truly enjoy supporting each student’s individual musical journey.
Due to the growing number of students, I founded my own music school on Portobello Road.
Lessons are available in 30 or 60-minute sessions depending on individual needs. Whether you are just starting out or preparing for an important performance, I offer professional, positive guidance to help you grow, improve, and enjoy making music.
