About Amanda
I started my career in a Cancer Research lab with the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. There I succeeded in publishing my research into PLoS Genetics, and aiding in numerous other journal publications. My career path to industry was interesting but I love being in the operating room now, aiding surgeons with implantation of the latest spine devices. Previous students I have tutored are now in college pursuing pre-med. They excelled through Honors Biology and Chemistry through my sessions and their hard work.

Wrapping your head around certain Biology lessons can be difficult. I approach lessons with that understanding and try my best to break it down for students tailoring the conversation to their learning style. Everyone learns differently. Previously, I have only tutored high school students but I am open to lower level college courses.
