About Jenna

I am a flutist who has played in all levels of school bands, orchestras and also played in front of judges as a level 5 for NYSSMA (New York State School of Music Association) and scored a 99/100%.
I have helped WNY honor band after playing in the band from grades 5-12 as well as assisting grade school band teacher with summer band students.
In high school I was able to travel and play in small groups as well as perform solos at various events for holidays, graduations, Masses and more. I also played for family weddings as well.

About the lesson

My name is Jenna Kolesnick and am currently a college student. I love music and fell in love with the Flute the first time I played it. It is important to keep lessons fun in order to keep students engaged as well as motivated to want to learn and improve their playing. Practicing is key, I firmly believe that practicing at least 4 days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes is critical. I also ensure that players are taught the scales from the beginning as they are the foundation of music.

Details

I am offering the first lesson free of charge for a half hour time slot or marked at half price for a full hour. I can also offer deals as well, 5 hours of lessons over various days/weeks will be $100 (saves 1 full lesson and some)
For traveling, I am willing to travel up to 30mi for lessons with a $10 charge added to the original lesson fee. (If travel is within a few miles up to about 10 we can discuss having the travel fee waived.
My cancellation policy: I understand that life can be unpredictable at times, I ask for 24 hours notice if there is a need for lesson cancellation/rescheduling. I will allow one no show lesson free of charge, but after the one I will charge $15/no show.
