Oregon City High School Honor Student offering math tutoring for elementary school kids.
Methodology
For elementary-age kids, I have found that they are quick to say they just aren't good at math and give up. Or, they are easily distracted and don't put in 100% effort. Trying to make math an enjoyable experience at a young age is very important to give kids the confidence and perseverance to do their best. I love getting up and moving during a lesson to make it more fun. It is very useful to take some time to find out how an individual learns best. Do they learn best from reading? Or do they learn best from diagrams?
Background
I am a junior at Oregon City High School. I am in National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. I love making math an enjoyable experience for kids so they have the confidence and perseverance to do their best.
