My experiences learning in Lisa’s classes were some of the best I had in my undergraduate years. I came to Organic Chemistry thinking it was just another class to check off toward my degree but I was happily surprised to see how enjoyable and interesting learning this subject under her was. I enjoyed having her as my professor so much that I decided to take her Advanced Organic Chemistry class the “Science of Food” which turned out to be my all time favorite class in my four years at CU Denver. To me, Lisa is the professor I will never forget, she showed me why we really learn, not for the grade or degree but for the wonder and curiosity that we seek to fulfill. She’s patient, kind, and compassionate about what she does and I’m confident that she is a fantastic teacher able to help you understand the content you’re trying to grasp.
