About Victoria
Drawn out on a digital whiteboard, chemical structures begin to look like elegant maps rather than chaotic jumbles of atoms. I prioritize clarity in SN1 and SN2 reactions so that students can move through exams without hesitation or guessing. NMR spectroscopy becomes a manageable puzzle once you understand the underlying physical principles. My approach utilizes the training I received at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine to explain concepts in granular detail.
We tackle reaction mechanisms until the logic becomes second nature for your exam requirements. Pre-med students and MCAT candidates find these sessions provide the necessary structure to excel on test day. I treat every problem as an opportunity to reinforce the foundation of your scientific knowledge.
Chemistry is a language I have spent 6 years speaking fluently. I find great satisfaction in handing you the tools to solve any problem you encounter.

Teaching exists because complex reaction mechanisms often feel disconnected from the reality of medicine until someone breaks down the logic. My own path through the UC San Francisco School of Medicine revealed how much these chemical pathways govern human biology.
Having guided 89 students over 6 years of experience, I know exactly which topics the AAMC tests hardest and how to build true fluency there. My focus remains on carbonyl chemistry, radical reactions, and intricate retrosynthesis that confuses most undergraduates. I offer free access to my reaction mechanism notes which serve as a central roadmap for my students. Working with pre-med students and IB students keeps my own analytical skills sharp and refined.
Helping someone realize that stereochemistry follows predictable patterns is genuinely enjoyable. Seeing a student finally understand synthesis pathways makes the technical labor worthwhile. I appreciate the intellectual exchange that happens during these high-level sessions.
