About Darcy
Drawing reaction mechanisms on the whiteboard helps me make NMR spectroscopy, functional groups, and complex organic chemistry concepts easier to understand. I focus on helping students develop a clear and structured approach to challenging reactions.
With 3 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through curved-arrow notation, stereochemistry, isomerism, retrosynthesis, alcohols, ethers, and other core organic chemistry topics. My MD from UC San Francisco School of Medicine provides a strong academic foundation for my teaching approach.
Tackling complex reactions requires more than memorizing steps—it requires a strategic way of thinking. My goal is to help you recognize reaction patterns, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and approach organic chemistry with greater confidence as you work toward your academic goals.
