About Chloe

Hi, I’m a GP trainee nearing the end of my training (CCT). I passed all of my clinical exams with high scores and have developed a clear, structured approach to OSCEs that I now enjoy sharing with students.
I currently teach medical students from the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine during their placements at my GP practice. I really enjoy teaching in a practical, supportive way—helping students build confidence, improve their structure, and feel more comfortable in exam situations.
Through GP training, I’ve developed strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach, which are essential for doing well in OSCEs. A big part of my teaching focuses on helping students feel natural and confident, rather than robotic or overly rehearsed.
I’m currently pregnant and have reduced my clinical hours, which means I now have more time during the week to dedicate to teaching. I’m really looking forward to working with students and helping them feel more prepared and confident going into their exams.

About the lesson

I offer structured, exam-focused OSCE tutoring for medical students preparing for finals or resits. My approach is designed to help you perform confidently under exam conditions, not just improve theoretical knowledge.
As a current GP trainee, I work daily in a setting where communication, structure, and patient-centred care are essential. GP training places a strong emphasis on clear, efficient consultations and adapting your approach to each patient—skills that translate directly into high-scoring OSCE performance. I have also consistently been a top performer in family and friends feedback at my GP practice, reflecting strong communication and rapport-building skills, which are key areas many students struggle with in exams.
Sessions are highly interactive and built around real OSCE scenarios. You will practise stations in a timed format, followed by detailed, personalised feedback on your structure, communication, and clinical reasoning. I focus on helping you develop a clear, repeatable approach that you can apply across a wide range of stations.
A typical session includes:
Practising a full OSCE station under timed conditions
Targeted feedback on performance and technique
Refining structure and communication skills
Repeating the station to consolidate improvement
I place particular emphasis on:
Building a reliable structure for history-taking and examinations
Improving communication and patient interaction (a key differentiator in OSCEs)
Developing confidence and fluency under pressure
Understanding exactly what examiners are looking for
Sessions are tailored to your level—whether you are aiming for a solid pass or preparing for a resit and need a more focused, strategic approach.
My aim is to help you become structured, confident, and exam-ready, so you can approach your OSCEs with clarity and perform at your best on the day.
