About Sharon
One student in a virtual class sent me a screenshot of me teaching. I said, "Oh, I look so happy" She responded, "Ms. Oakley, you are always happy!" I realized that when I'm teaching, I'm always happy.
I've taught PreK through 12 Art in the schools with great success and online as well, happily. I've taught on an Indian Reservation in person for years as I'm indigenous and lived that lifestyle.
I like for my students to prepare their area with good scents, relaxing music and few interruptions. Then they can enhance their senses and discover their creative talents.
You choose the Art form you wish to enjoy and we will delve into it with gusto and joy. It's a collaboration of happy souls creating together.

I've empowered so many individuals of all ages using creative Art techniques. I will guide you to focus on creating something you like while naturally initiating a meditative state, (empowering, enlightening, healthy, and fun).
If you are drawing, I take you step by step into creating something wonderful. Then you can color it with your choice of markers, crayons, water colors, acrylics, etc.
We can explore digital art and create phenomenal images using the tools online. Your imagination has no limits.
Ceramics? Pottery? Oil painting? Sculpting? You name the form you wish to explore and we will go there.
I've taught Art in the schools and online in all grades and adults. It's just fabulous fun. Come join me for the time of your life!
