1. Warm-up (10-15 mins)
• Dynamic stretching (arm circles, lunges, high knees)
• Footwork drills (side shuffles, quick steps, ladder drills)
• Light rallying to activate reflexes and coordination
2. Fundamentals & Technique (20 mins)
• Grip & Stance: Teach the correct forehand and backhand grip, ready position, and body posture.
• Footwork & Movement: Practice moving efficiently across the court, focusing on speed and balance.
• Basic Shots: Demonstrate and drill clear, drop, and smash shots, emphasizing accuracy and control.
3. Drills & Application (20 mins)
• Shadow Drills: Simulating movement and shot execution without a shuttlecock to improve reflexes.
• Target Practice: Placing markers to help students aim their shots with precision.
• Rally Exercises: Short rallies to improve consistency and strategy in gameplay.
4. Strategy & Game Play (20 mins)
• Doubles & Singles Play: Pairing students for friendly matches, focusing on positioning and shot selection.
• Tactical Training: Teaching offensive and defensive strategies, including net play and deception.
• Feedback & Adjustments: Observing gameplay and providing real-time tips for improvement.
5. Cool-down & Reflection (10 mins)
• Stretching: Preventing injuries with proper cooldown exercises.
• Discussion: Encouraging students to share what they learned, their challenges, and their goals.
• Motivation & Mindset: Reinforcing confidence, resilience and sportsmanship.
