About Preena
I have taught KS3 and KS4 maths to numerous students who achieved higher grades than predicted. I have recently undertaken lesson observations at various local schools in order to gain a deeper understanding of the new syllabus and grade system. I have also secured a place to train as a maths teacher from September 2018 to formalise my teaching credentials.

My name is Preena and I offer maths tuition to students from year 6 to 11.
I am a mother of 3 which means you will be getting a tutor who is mature, patient and understands the importance of children fulfilling their potential. I have spent over 10 years in formal or professional education and, using the best of the teaching techniques I have experienced, I have developed my own engaging and creative lesson plans. These will be provided to, and tailored for, each child I tutor. I offer the first lesson free which will allow me to gain a clearer understanding of the needs and learning style of the child and formulate a strategy going forwards.
My intention for every child I tutor is that they are confident in their ability to succeed in maths because I have helped them understand the subject on a deeper level rather than just learning by rote.
