About Cora

For the past 19+ years, I have been teaching Spanish to High School and College students with dedication, patience, and enthusiasm. I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed when lessons are designed around their individual needs. My personalised teaching approach allows students to learn comfortably while improving their confidence and communication skills step by step.

My classes cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and conversational Spanish. I explain every topic clearly using simple English and practical examples that students can easily relate to. Interactive activities, guided conversations, and real-life situations make learning enjoyable while helping students remember concepts more effectively.

One of my strongest qualities is my ability to motivate students through positive encouragement and consistent support. I understand that learning a language can sometimes feel challenging, so I create a welcoming classroom where students feel safe asking questions and practising without fear of making mistakes. Regular progress checks help students see their improvement and stay motivated.

I also integrate Spanish culture into my lessons by discussing traditions, festivals, customs, and everyday life in Spanish-speaking countries. This broader understanding helps students connect with the language while improving their communication abilities.

My commitment to personalised learning means every lesson is created to support each student's academic and personal goals. I am passionate about helping learners become confident Spanish speakers who can communicate naturally in both educational and real-world settings.

About the lesson

I teach Spanish using a methodology that emphasises motivation, communication, creativity, and time management. Motivation is key; I create a supportive and positive environment where students feel confident and eager to learn. Communication is central; I help students develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through interactive exercises, real-life scenarios, and practical activities.

Creativity is an essential part of my lessons—I use storytelling, role-plays, games, and visual aids to make learning fun, engaging, and memorable. Time management ensures that lessons are balanced, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practice efficiently.

I also guide learners on organising their practice and study outside class for steady improvement. Along with Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar fundamentals, pronunciation, and language learning strategies. My goal is to provide a structured, enjoyable, and effective learning experience that builds fluency and confidence.
