About Connor
I have had the pleasure of working with a range of needs and abilities within a school environment in both the UK and Thailand. I have adapted my teaching to ensure every learner is challenge and motivated to learn.
I specialise in Maths and have been Maths lead for primary schools for the past 3 years. I have a good understanding on how to build upon the Maths knowledge each child possesses and enable them to grow in confidence.
I strongly believe that learning comes from attitude, therefore one of my prime focuses as a teacher is to ensure every child adopts a growth mindset that drives their learning across the curriculum.
I thouroughly enjoy the creative side of teaching; every lesson is different and the ways of reaching the desired learning outcome are endless. I alternate my lessons and plans to ensure they are based around each individuals needs. Whether they are more practical or creative, there are always ways to get them in touch with subjects they struggle to find enjoyment in.
Being my passion, teaching has allowed me to change children’s lives and give the upcoming generation the tools to soar through their educational journey.
