About Zain
Currently I am a student at the University of Warwick. I started playing the bass guitar in 2015, before which I had learned the guitar (familiarising myself with the basics of any guitar). I am completely self taught, whereas most of my inspiration comes from the legendary 'Flea'. Over the last four years, I have performed alongside many brilliant musicians and have received recognition for my bass playing. I was approached by a very famous bassist (Shahi Hasan) and was asked to perform alongside him for a performance which would take place in front of approximately 35,000 people.

One way that I will be teaching the bass is by creating alternate bass-lines and improvising over songs and backing tracks. This makes it easier for you to create your own bass-lines for your own future songs. With respect to technique, I am most proficient in the slap technique as well as speed in playing, which would be perfect if you'd love to incorporate incredible styles of playing into your own songs. My teaching style comprises of some theory, but mostly I teach the techniques of improvisation and how to play what you feel, instead of following a fixed method to playing.

Details
The rates will remain the same for varying difficulties. If there are cancellations I will not be taking any money from the student, although I am very flexible with timings and request postponing the lesson instead of cancelling it.
