It is surprisingly effective to treat French conversation as a technical vocal exercise. I draw on 13 years of stage experience to help you master complex liaison and nasal sounds through a unique auditory lens. My sessions offer dedicated mock DELF papers with detailed feedback to ensure you are exam ready.

We will address reading comprehension through contemporary texts chosen specifically for your interests. Advanced learners will find the focus on business French particularly useful for professional contexts. Teens often struggle with pronunciation, so we break these sounds down into manageable physical shapes. Each session builds the confidence necessary to navigate travel situations with ease.

"Literature sparked my interest in linguistics before I ever stepped onto an operatic stage. You might find it strange that an opera singer spends hours analysing grammatical structures rather than just musical scores.

My BA in French and Spanish from Oxford provides the rigorous academic backbone for my instruction. Having spent 13 years performing across European stages, I have cultivated a deep, authentic connection to the rhythm of these languages. My MMus from the Guildhall School further refined my ear for the nuance of nasal sounds and liaison. I dedicate my time to supporting teens, advanced learners, and children.
