*Personalised Teaching Approach and Track Record of Success

I support a range of students, from those needing steady guidance to those aspiring for top grades.
In many cases, my students reach their predicted grade months before their final exams and go on to excel beyond their original targeted grade. My experience ranges from students who are behind in the syllabus and in need of steady support and confidence building, to the more able students looking to achieve the higher grades.

I have helped many students enter some of the best schools in the country. At the moment I am helping a student prepare for upcoming Oxford and Cambridge maths entrance exams in 2026. (Reference available)

Understanding each student’s unique needs and capabilities is central to my teaching. I aim to make maths relatable by delving into the logic and structure behind the concepts, which not only aids in problem-solving but also builds confidence and independence. Many of my students achieve their predicted grades months before their final exams, often exceeding their original goals.

*Philosophy & Strategy

My teaching philosophy is to be patient, to understand the students' need and learning capability to encourage them to be the best they can be. I also like to provide an understanding of how the maths works on a fundamental level by providing the knowledge on the logic and structure. This way my students are not only taught how to answer questions, but why we answer the way we do. I believe this can be highly encouraging and help build confidence in the subject overall.

I create and update tailored worksheets to align with the demanding maths specifications, introducing students to various exam-style questions. These resources are perfect for revision outside lessons and enhance exam technique. Regular assessments further reinforce learning and memory retention. Connecting Through Passion I am passionate about making maths an engaging and rewarding experience. By inspiring students to understand 'why' behind the answers, I strive to make learning enjoyable and impactful.

Maths can be a difficult subject, especially due to the vast amount of knowledge that has to be learnt. Due to this, after certain learning goals have been reached, I will often assess the student's new capabilities to assess their independence on the topics they have learnt, in order to help with memory retention and reinforce their learning.
