About Tom
I qualified as an architect in 2008 and have had a varied career spending time in the largest practice in the world working on international projects through to starting my own practice in 2022. I’m passionate about sustainable design and I am a certified Passivhaus Designer. I believe that it is vitally important to share experience and knowledge with the next generation to help shape the world we live in in a positive way.

A career in architecture is complex and varied. I provide each student with a bespoke plan to help with the parts that they are struggling with, from sustainable design principles to computer software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Twinmotion) to design. I’m here to help. I have over 20 years of experience in the architectural industry and have launched my own practice focusing on sustainable design and Passivhaus. I am also a lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire. Lessons will be tailored to each student and will last one to two hours. I take a pragmatic approach to teaching to build on skills needed in the real world.
