About Melika

Hi! I’m Melika, I have a bachelor degree in Biotechnology and also I'm a Biology tutor who loves making difficult topics easier to understand!
One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is taking a topic that seems confusing at first and breaking it down into simple, clear ideas that actually make sense.

I have been teaching since 2022 and have experience working with students with different levels, needs, and learning styles. Even with different topic such as chromosomes, DNA, genetics, cells, cell division, human organs, anatomy, and other areas of Biology and whether they were struggling with one specific topic, preparing for an exam, trying to catch up with your class, or simply want to understand Biology more deeply,
My background in Biotechnology has given me a strong academic foundation in Biology and related subjects, while my teaching experience has taught me how important it is to explain the same concept in different ways depending on the student.

My goal is not just to give you the answer or tell you to memorize something, but to help you understand the answer and become more confident in studying Biology independently.

About the lesson

What if Biology finally started to make sense instead of feeling like something you simply have to memorize?

That is the approach I bring to my lessons.

Every lesson starts with you. I first find out what you already understand, which parts are confusing, and what you want to achieve. Then I build the lesson around your needs rather than using exactly the same method for everyone.

Depending on your goal, a lesson can include:

• Breaking a difficult topic into simple, manageable parts
• Step-by-step explanations of concepts and processes
• Diagrams and visual examples to make Biology easier to understand
• Connecting different concepts so you can see the bigger picture
• Questions and discussion to check your understanding
• Practice questions to help you apply what you have learned
• Reviewing difficult topics before an exam
• Identifying gaps in your knowledge and working on them together

We can focus on a specific topic you need help with, including chromosomes, DNA, genetics, cells, cell division, human organs, anatomy, and many other Biology topics.

If you are a school student, we can work through your lessons, homework, or exam topics in a way that matches your level. If you are a university student, we can focus on understanding more advanced Biology and Biotechnology-related concepts.

I also encourage you to ask questions. There is no such thing as a “stupid” Biology question in my lessons. If something doesn’t make sense, we simply find another way to explain it.

Most importantly, I want you to leave each lesson thinking, “Oh, now I understand!”

My lessons are personalized, supportive, and focused on real understanding — so you can study Biology with more clarity, confidence, and less frustration.

She was my tutor a few years ago when we had face-to-face classes. I was so confused when I wanted to study DNA, but she made it easy to understand. I got a really good score after sessions with her.
