An enthusiastic and charismatic head of science and Chemistry specialist with over 7 years teaching experience in mainstream Science and A Level Chemistry. I have also lead a large successful science department. I’m experienced in teaching GCSE science and A level chemistry for all exam boards. I have also successfully tutored students for entry examinations for UCS and south Hampstead high school.
Students will be given a A01 knowledge pack at the start of a topic. This pack will contain subject specific terminology and key knowledge needed to access the learning. The lessons will focus on A02 and A03 knowledge that students need to achieve 7-9/A-A* grade. The lessons will also be authentically challenging to ensure students are given the tools needed to achieve the top grades. Every lesson will end with exam practice with a literacy and numeracy focus.
