Yushu's an effective teacher who has made learning Mandarin a lot more fun. What you get: clarity of lessons, meeting you where you're at, a sense of humor, all while being serious about teaching. Personally, tones are a little difficult, but she makes it easy to understand and has been very patient in making sure I get it actually right, not just "kind of" right, which is great because I don't need to sound like I'm being scolded or a horse when talking about mom.
