About Lola
With a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance and more than 4 years of teaching experience, I help students unlock their vocal potential. My lessons are tailored for all levels, from beginners to professionals. I specialise in Broadway and musical theatre, where character work, stage presence, and expression make every performance come alive. Belt technique and agility are central to my approach, giving singers the tools for demanding repertoire. I also teach ear training, harmony, improvisation, and theory to develop strong musicianship. Building confidence is one of my top priorities, because confident singers perform their best. Safe vocal technique is always emphasised, keeping voices healthy as they grow. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and fun, while still being structured. I adapt to each student’s strengths and goals, ensuring lessons feel personal and effective. Every voice is unique, and I believe in celebrating that individuality. My goal is to help students find both their voice and their artistry. Together, we’ll prepare for the stage with skill and authenticity.

My approach to teaching singing is built around the idea of long-term vocal health. I believe voices should grow stronger with time, not wear down. Lessons are designed for soloists, ensemble singers, and professionals who perform regularly. I train students in stamina, safe belt technique, and agility for quick changes. Handling vocal fatigue is always addressed, with methods for pacing and recovery. Pre-performance preparation and post-performance care are central parts of the process. The soloist in training learns stage presence, acting through song, and expressive delivery. The church ensemble player learns blending, balance, and endurance for repeated services. I also build musicianship through ear training, harmony, and improvisation. Confidence is emphasised in every session, because strong voices come from singers who trust themselves. Lessons are interactive and flexible, always shaped to the student’s needs. My goal is to protect and grow every voice for the long term. Preserve your voice, preserve your career.
