About Dr Emma

Having graduated from Cambridge medical school with a triple first distinction, I now work as a junior doctor with a special interest in medical education. For the past seven years, I have been helping aspiring medical students with their applications through online tuition and in-person academic summer schools, totalling over 50 hours of mock interviews and one-to-one advice sessions. During this time, I developed a thorough grasp of what it takes to be a prime candidate.

About the lesson

I specialise in helping students prepare for their Oxbridge medical school interviews. Having achieved a first-class in each of my six years of medical school and a Distinction in my final year, I am highly experienced in how to perform well in Oxbridge interviews. My interview techniques consist of 30-45 minutes on a virtual platform asking questions followed by an analysis of the applicant's strengths and weaknesses, and a plan on how to improve. I can provide multiple practice interviews created by myself that are based on my own interviews and those of my colleagues. I also provide documents that I send all my interviewees to read in their own time. This consists of my analysis of the applicants' performance and an e-book about how to make the most of work experience for your interviews.

I can offer a free first meeting to get to know each other, explain my methods and answer any questions you have.
