About Amelia

I came to the UK for university and studied Law at Oxford. I achieved a 2.1 degree a couple of years ago before receiving my training contract offer. I recently completed the LPC LLM at the University of Law, receiving a distinction (individual subject results below in CV).

About the lesson

My lessons are aimed at those preparing for, or currently undertaking, the Legal Practice Course. I start by getting to know you as a student - which areas do you feel confident in? Where are you struggling? How do you learn best? From there we can devise a plan for how to develop your knowledge and ability in particular modules.

With courses having moved online, I believe one major concern for many has been a lack of motivation to thoroughly self-study. This can be especially so with the LPC, because no one is going to really notice if you haven't prepared properly. With me as your tutor, you can bet I'll monitor your progress, and while I am gentle and friendly, I also don't let my students slack off. Together, we'll work hard, and it will pay off - and the feeling at the end is pretty amazing.
