About Victor
I love helping students build real confidence in subjects that once felt intimidating. I've tutored middle school kids in both English and French, and volunteered as a teaching assistant at a primary school here in New York City — so I have genuine hands-on experience working with younger learners. I also know the NYC middle school admissions exams (SSAT, ISEE, SHSAT, HSPT) from personal experience — I sat all four and was admitted to Stuyvesant High School before ultimately choosing Regis. Whether it's cracking the logic of an SAT passage, navigating a high-stakes admissions test, working through a tricky equation, or finding the right words in French or English, I meet each student where they are and build from there. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, not just a summer job.

Regis High School graduate, heading to Oxford University (Philosophy, Politics & Economics) this fall. Also admitted to Georgetown University. Scored 1560 on the SAT on my first and only attempt (99th percentile). Fully bilingual in English and French. Available for SAT prep (all sections), essay writing, humanities, math, and French tutoring. I adapt to each student's needs and learning style. Available August and September only — ideal for students targeting the October or November SAT. First exchange free.
