About Olija
I'm Olija (pronounced Oh-lee-ya) and I've been lucky enough to benefit from an incredible education that's made me genuinely enjoy learning and understanding. Teaching stuff to others is really just an extension of that enjoyment. Obviously there's plenty to me beyond my academics but I feel like it says something that one of my main pastimes right now is writing a book teaching how to write a compiler to put on the internet (other than that I'm autistic).

I like to build my own understanding from first principles so that's the same approach I try to take when teaching others. I like to go through things and work out exactly where someone is struggling to understand and then build up that understanding in an accessible (because it's not exactly teaching if you can't understand it) but complete way.
