About Ash
I am an enthusiastic and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics and Physics. I have completed my A-levels and will be studying Economics and Management at the University of Oxford.
I enjoy teaching because I know how much difference a clear explanation and the right guidance can make. My aim is to help students become more confident, improve their problem-solving skills and achieve stronger exam results. I am patient, reliable and able to explain difficult ideas in a straightforward and relatable way.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, focusing on building a strong understanding of the topic before progressing to exam-style questions. I explain concepts clearly, identify gaps in knowledge and adapt the pace depending on the student’s confidence.
Lessons are typically one hour long and include worked examples, guided practice and independent questions, with regular feedback throughout.
I have studied Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-level and hold an offer to study Economics and Management at the University of Oxford. My lessons are suitable for secondary-school students, including GCSE and A-level Mathematics students who want to improve their confidence, technique and exam performance.
