About Luke
I'm currently a 3rd year Engineering undergraduate at the University of Oxford (New College). Whilst at school, I attained 3 A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A level with an A in Chemistry AS. In GCSEs I received 9 9s, 2 8s and an A in additional maths.
I've got 5 years of experience tutoring students through their GCSEs, where notably one of my students went on to achieve a perfect set of 11 9s and an A in additional maths. I've given Oxbridge style mock interviews to multiple students when helping them with their university applications, and helped outlay a roadmap for them on how they'll study for admissions tests.

Whether it's maths, physics or working towards an exam, I strongly believe the best way to learn is by working through problems and then receiving immediate, insightful feedback and solutions to where you can improve. Because of this, my lessons centre around accompanying the student whilst they solve challenging questions, strengthening their skills in problem solving and helping them become more comfortable in the exam they're due to sit. Subject knowledge is also vital when approaching GCSEs and A levels, so past clearly explaining more difficult topics, I freely offer curated online flashcards to help students solidify concepts they've learnt in contact hours.
My lessons are best practiced online, since I have an interactive tablet and backlog of past papers spanning GCSE, A level and the PAT.
