About Luke
I am a fully qualified Maths teacher, having spent the last five years working in schools teaching Maths to KS3, GCSE and A-level students. I have spent the last two years as Assistant Curriculum Leader of Maths at a secondary school / sixth form in East London.
I have experience tutoring Maths at KS3, GCSE and A-Level as well as preparing my students for Oxbridge application exams.
Before teaching, I studied at the University of Oxford, from which I graduated in 2019.

My approach to teaching is knowledge-based, emphasising teacher-led instruction and modelled examples followed by independent student practice, with additional support when required.
My approach towards my students is firm but caring: I aim to cultivate a calm, consistent and productive atmosphere, where students feel happy, safe, and confident to make mistakes and ask for any support they might need.
