About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie and I have just finished my second year of Graduate-entry Medicine in UCD. Before this, I studied Human Sciences at the University of Oxford.

I scored a 78 (99th percentile) on my GAMSAT in 2024, and since then, have loved to share the prep techniques I used with others.
I did the GAMSAT while also preparing for my final year university exams, so I know better than anyone that time is precious! This experience shaped my approach - my focus is on efficiency and quality over quantity of prep.

The GAMSAT is a tricky exam but I have seen people make massive improvements with focused guidance. Please reach out if you are interested and best of luck with your journey to medicine!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student, and can focus on all 3 sections or just one, depending on the individual's needs. I will share useful resources and help you to work through specific questions.

Section 3 can be daunting for many students - I am a big believer in exam technique and improving thinking skills over memorising countless scientific details. I am eager to share the techniques I used to score an 83 in this section without memorising the entire periodic table!

Lessons are roughly 1 hour and you can do as many (or as few) as you like! With more lessons we can build a more personalised and structured plan, and I can review section 2 essays in between lessons and provide feedback.

I look forward to helping you on your journey to GEM! I am also happy to talk with you about Graduate-entry Medicine in general if you have any questions :)
