About Kamran
Hi! My name's Kamran and I am from Manchester. I have been tutoring since I was at school in a wide range of subjects, from mathematics and physics to English as a foreign language, French and Mandarin Chinese. I graduated this year with a BA Hons (First Class) in Philosophy and Linguistics (PPL) at the University of Oxford and am now staying on to complete a Masters in Linguistics. I consider myself a very friendly and approachable tutor who teaches in a rigorous way that gets my students to think, but which also inspires confidence in them. When it comes to maths, I pride myself on being able to teach to all ages and abilities and to explain complex ideas in a simple manner. My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the students and are designed to meet clearly set out goals, whilst allowing students to both see and consolidate on their progress. My hourly rates are very competitive and I have experience teaching to GCSE and A-Level syllabuses and I am very flexible with times and locations. Kamran is a very dedicated and encouraging teacher. At the moment, he is going over the entire Maths A-Level spec with me, making sure I understand everything and giving me detailed homework which he goes over the next lesson. He is also willing to go over things with me even when we have gone over them previously and comes up with different ways to explain them.
