Maths is built on set rules, and I aim to distil these rules into bite-size tips and tricks for students to use in exam settings. I have taught Maths to children for over three years, both as a standalone subject and as part of 11+ and 13+ preparation, and my students have achieved success in examinations as a result of the rules-based methodology I employ. Lessons are usually one hour long, but I can be flexible with timings where required.
Recommendations

I could honestly not recommend Sam enough. He helped my daughter understand complicated musical concepts by breaking them down into easy bits. This made her more able to figure out how to play her piano pieces. She really loved learning with him, and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn music theory.
Very knowledgeable and reliable, highly recommended!
Could not recommend Sam enough as a tutor! He managed to turn even the most daunting of my dissertation-related problems into easy, manageable tasks and worked incredibly hard to make sure I felt motivated and confident throughout our lessons. Despite picking a somewhat niche dissertation topic, Sam went above and beyond to ensure he had a firm grasp of the issues at hand so that we could have a fruitful discussion. If you ever feel lost or stuck with a dissertation, Sam will be an absolute lifesaver.
Sam is a fantastic tutor. He is clearly very experienced, knowledgable and his expertise is evident. I would highly recommend Sam for music theory tutoring, he has helped me to understand difficult concepts at a university level without making me feel discouraged!
