About Linus
I am a recent Graduate from the University of Oxford with a Master's in Mathematics, and education is something deeply important to me, as I have witnessed the profound positive effects that education can take on any young person's life. As such, I have followed this interest throughout my degree, engaging in programs such as Problem Solving Matters and Zero Gravity, as well as taking on individual tutees from my own Sixth Form and even others from abroad. I am committed to making a difference in your preparations, and will prepare sessions tailored to your specific needs and requests, so that you may get the most out of your time with me!

I have experience tutoring a number of successful applicants one-on-one in preparation for the MAT, Oxbridge interviews and the STEP, as well as teaching the MAT syllabus to a group of applicants in the Problem Solving Matters program. My lessons will last 45 minutes to an hour and are aimed at Sixth Form students in Years 12 and 13, who are either preparing for Oxbridge Mathematics admissions or the Further Maths A-Level. In admissions prep lessons we will typically go over practice questions for the part of the process being prepared for. In lessons for the Further Maths A-Level, we will both cover content to the required level, before diving into some practice questions. At the end of each session, we will always have a short review on the day's content, what the students found good and what was more challenging, as well as setting preparation work for next week's class.
