About Blazej
I am a graduate in Jurisprudence (Law) from St. John's College, University of Oxford. I am currently working towards my SQE (Solicitors' Qualifying Examinations) award and master's in Legal Practice to begin my role as a trainee solicitor. Previously, I was working as a secondary school Learning Support Assistant. I have been teaching for seven years, both online and in person, across a range of subjects and age groups. Primarily, I focus on English (Literature & Language), Maths, Further Maths and RS/RE/Philosophy. However, I also have experience teaching Psychology, History and French, as well as in my undergraduate discipline: Law.
My typical student age range is 10-17, teaching students working towards their 11+/13+, KS3, GCSE, AS and A-Level, though I am more than happy to help potential students of any age and working towards other qualifications- or just learning for themselves! I am always excited to meet and get to know new students and believe that fostering a good, mutually respectful and considerate student-tutor dynamic is the key to success. I’m here to help no matter your circumstances, prior knowledge or particular learning needs and I have seen my approach work through the excellent progress and results of my past students.
A little bit about my qualifications:
-2:1 in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford with a 1st in Feminist Jurisprudence, Criminology, Administrative Law and Constitutional Law
-SQE1 qualified in the First Quintile, awaiting my SQE2 results
-5A* at A-Level, in Maths, Further Maths, English Literature, Psychology and RS/Philosophy
-13 Level 9s (new A*) at GCSE
Please reach out if you have any questions! (:

Having been a tutor for over six years and working with students aged 10-17, teaching a variety of subjects at 11+, GCSE and A-Level, I’m confident in my ability to tailor each lesson to student needs. Everyone learns differently, and I’m ready to help you achieve the best results however works best for you!
My lessons are always planned in advance but highly interactive, utilising active recall, open discussion and comprehensive resources tailored to your individual learning style and tackling your weaker areas. If you are working towards a public assessment, I am here to help you sharpen your exam technique and understand what exam boards really look for.
I am also always on call outside of lesson time to answer questions, provide homework help, marking or additional resources. I understand that students may have a lot on their plates, and so I am always determined to be a reliable but flexible source of help for my students.
As a successful Oxford applicant (and now graduate), I am also more than happy to answer any of your questions about the Oxbridge application process, help you write your personal statement or provide interview practice.
Please feel free to get in touch with any other questions!
