About Stephen
I am a Master's graduate from Oxford in languages and philosophy, and have been tutoring online for three years now, with experience in teaching in classrooms for longer. I have taught languages in several countries and always have allowed my students to excel and flourish in their exams and beyond. My sessions are informative and engaging, designed to allow my students to make concrete progress in every lesson. I proceed systematically, tailoring a lesson structure to each student’s individual needs, covering the basics of a subject thoroughly to give the required foundation from which to progress.
I create a comfortable and open learning environment in which we work through difficult areas together. I focus not only on equipping my students with the knowledge to pass their exams, but also with the tools with which to consolidate their existing knowledge and to learn independently.
My passion for learning comes through in the way I teach, allowing my students to achieve their goals and to enjoy their studies along the way!
