About Sebastian

I am a law graduate looking to begin my legal career. I have extensive experience in teaching law having completed a 7 week stay in Uganda teaching unjustly convicted maximum security prisoners public law as part of an overseas law degree. All of my students passed and qualified. Further, I supervised groups of students throughout my university time gaining experience with individuals of all age groups.

About the lesson

I approach teaching in a dynamic way utilising a plethora of methods to communicate relevant information. I strongly believe that a comfortable environment is conducive to more effective learning. As such development and progress is at the foreground of my teaching.

Perfect! Sebastian is an absolute gem and then some. I came to him as a fumbling, stressed out procrastinator with upwards of 5 essays to write within a 10-day deadline, on topics I hadn’t revised in 8-10 months. He hit the ground running with considerable flexibility, scheduling lessons on short notice (all while taking a 5-hour time difference into account, as I’m currently abroad).

During our lessons, he was particularly helpful in demystifying abstract concepts and explaining them in an articulate and exciting manner. Which is always a challenge with Law. He took a special interest in my academic journey and success by not only preparing detailed handouts (summarizing each concept), for me to revise prior to our session…. but by also following up “after hours”, offering to proofread and edit my work.

In the brief time I’ve known and worked with Sebastian, he has proven to be far more than a mere tutor. Sebastian is the Mentor every student needs. His knowledge/proficiency is substantial and I can honestly say, he has CONSIDERABLY improved my understanding of the Law. I look forward to using his services throughout the remainder of my academic career.

From personal experience, I have found that Sebastian explains complex Law topics in an easy-to-understand manner. He uses relevant and interesting examples when teaching about Law, and he encourages lots of discussion; this is very engaging and makes content easy to remember.
