About Esomchi
I am a first year law student at the University of Oxford. I achieved 36/42 on the LNAT and received offers to study law from Oxford, LSE, UCL, Warwick, and Nottingham.
I offer LNAT tuition, law personal statement help, and Oxbridge mock interview practice.
I achieved 3 A*s in A Level Maths, Spanish, and English Literature in 2023, and offer tuition for AQA English Literature and Spanish at GCSE and A Level. Having completed these qualifications myself, I can relate to students and know how to achieve the top grades.
GCSE English texts covered: the entirety of the poetry anthology, Pride and Prejudice, Macbeth, and A Taste of Honey.
A Level English texts covered: Othello, Atonement, Skirrid Hill, The Handmaid's Tale, A Streetcar Named Desire, and the entirety of the poetry anthology.
A Level Spanish works covered: La Casa de Bernarda Alba and Volver (however, I can provide essay structures and mark work produced for any set text).

All my sessions are adaptable based on the specific needs/ situation of the student, however I place a large emphasis on exam-based activities. The first session is a chance for both of us to establish where you are and where you want to be in order to work out how I can help you get there!
LAW APPLICATIONS
I take students through the whole process, providing assistance with the personal statement as well as tuition for the LNAT and interview practice, if required.
SPANISH
I initially use exam questions or diagnostic tests for all the skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) so that we can target your weakest areas. I then provide lessons and multimedia resources to fill any knowledge gaps. We may then return to exam-style questions and activities to apply this knowledge and check what progress has been made. This approach is highly flexible and I always prioritise whichever methods work best for the student.
ENGLISH
I usually begin by assessing essays to understand where the student needs help. From there, I use a range of resources to ensure the student has the necessary understanding of both their texts and the assessment objectives. This understanding will then be applied to exam-style questions, for which students will be provided with essay structures and exemplar responses.
