About Leila
Hi!
I am a friendly Year 13 student at The Tiffin Girls' School, offering tutoring services to GCSE students, having achieved 10 level 9 grades in my exams. I can tutor in English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Religious Studies at GCSE level.
At A-Level, I am predicted 3A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Religious Studies and hold an offer from the University of Oxford to study Law beginning in October 2020, so can help with UCAS applications and interview preparation too!
I also achieved an A (the highest grade) in my Mathematics AS-Level.
I have experience mentoring younger students in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, and have previously volunteered with disabled children at a local specialist school, so have experience in a position of responsibility, as well as with the new exam specification.

I base my classes on the individual needs of the student, but tend to focus on patterns in mark schemes and how to approach exam questions, since this is what helped me at GCSE the most.
I keep the content of my sessions tailored to the subject's specification to ensure a student knows exactly what they need to, without over-complicating things.
