About Amy
I am driven to teach because I am passionate about nurturing young minds and helping students discover the joy of learning. I understand that not everyone enjoys school and some can have very negative experiences of education - I aim to listen and try my best to change that perception. As a recent PGCE graduate from the University of Oxford with a first-class undergraduate degree, I bring a calm and patient approach, strong subject knowledge in history, and an engaging teaching style tailored to each student's needs. My academic achievements, with all GCSEs and A-levels at either A* or A, reflect my dedication to academic excellence. I am a recent PGCE graduate from the University of Oxford specialising in history, set to begin my teaching career in September. My approach to private tutoring is highly personalised, focusing on the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
