About Ellie
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Oxford, having studied there for 4 years and achieved a 2:1 in French and Spanish, with a distinction in French speaking. I have also previously achieved some of the top marks in my schools at GCSE and A Level. Languages has always been my passion and my favourite subject, so I am very enthusiastic about sharing this passion with other students, whether you are looking for casual tutoring, or help reaching those top grades! Because of this, I am about to start a masters program at the University of Bath in Translation, as I hope to continue my love for languages into a career. I have been particularly involved with outreach during my time at Oxford, helping on summer schools, open days, and more, so I can answer as many questions as you can ask!

I believe in a very individualistic and down to earth approach in my tutoring. This involves getting to know the student's abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and focusing on enhancing what they already know, whilst filling in the gaps of the things they don't know. Especially in a subject so often tricky and finicky as learning a language, I find it most important to make sure understanding is achieved before going further. However, I am fully encouraging and passionate about helping students get their top grades and reach their full potential. As an Oxford graduate, I have received tutorials and sometimes given them to others, so I know how helpful and beneficial the process can be. I am open to tutoring GCSE, A Level, and University entry level Spanish. ¡Buena suerte!
