About Anisia
I completed my bachelor’s degree in Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London (ICL) and my Pharmacology Master’s degree at Oxford University. I gained tutoring experience during my time at Oxford while leading small tutorial groups in Biology and Medicine for the Oxford summer school. I also carried out laboratory work in Oxford and ICL with a focus on neuroscience and cancer research. I have recently graduated and I am devoting all of my time to tutoring, which means that I have a very flexible schedule and take plenty of time to organise lessons and correct worksheets. I cover a wide range of topics including immunology, cardiovascular biology, neuroscience, genetics, oncology and basic cellular and molecular biology. I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of students to help them reach their personal goals.

I teach basic biomedical and biological principals using and textbook explanations and diagrams for clarity, then I build on top of this core knowledge by discussing current research published in scientific papers. I am very flexible and can adapt to all levels and preferred topics!
