I believe in a practical approach towards preparing for exams with a strong focus on working through questions to learn practical exam techniques to achieve the highest mark possible. Typical lessons would normally be an hour, starting by going over the content required for a topic before moving on to questions.
After achieving an A Band 1 result in my Higher maths and physics, I am currently completing Advanced Highers in these subjects and I am predicted to achieve an A Band 1 in both. I have an offer to study physics at Oxford university starting this autumn and have informally tutored several peers while preparing for exams.

A bright young man with a great deal of enthusiasm! His classes offer both the practical knowledge required for higher physics and a deeper understanding of the subject itself.
Scott has helped me to actually understand the mathematical concepts at Advanced Higher and Higher level, rather than just memorising the formulas. I can now use problem solving to answer questions. He is also a nice guy.
