I teach online using Google Meet while screen sharing from my drawing tablet. This allows me to create engaging lessons and help my students visualize key concepts. I have one year of tutoring experience and I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment in my sessions.
My first meeting with students involves a discussion where they can express any goals or weaknesses that they are facing in their work. This allows us to create a plan for subsequent sessions to ensure that they become confident with their subject.
I believe that the best way to become comfortable with maths and physics is by focusing on active problem solving. My students and I will work through and discuss practice questions together. This allows me to easily identify any areas in which they are struggling and ensure that we cover those concepts in depth.
I also encourage that students bring any difficult questions from their school or homework as I am not only eager to provide help, but this also helps me tailor future sessions to their needs.
