About Ashley

I am a reliable, organized teacher with over a decade of violin experience and a strong academic background. I hold a B.M. in Violin Performance from Florida International University and I am pursuing my M.M. at DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. I perform in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings, and I bring that real stage experience into my teaching so students learn what actually works. My lessons are professional and clear. I arrive prepared with a plan, set simple goals for each week, and share notes so you always know what to practice and why. I communicate quickly with students and families, I am on time, and I keep a positive, calm atmosphere even when a concept is challenging. For online teaching, I use a stable setup with quality audio and video and I have backup materials ready if technology gets in the way. If you are looking for a teacher who is patient, consistent, and genuinely invested in your progress, you will be in good hands with me

Hi! I am Ashley Gomez, and I love helping students feel confident and excited about their instruments, whether it be on violin, viola, or piano. In our lessons you will get clear, step by step guidance, lots of encouragement, and practice plans that actually fit your week. I listen closely, adjust to your learning style, and explain things in simple, friendly language so nothing feels confusing. We will build a healthy setup, beautiful tone, steady rhythm, and strong reading skills, then turn it all into music you are proud to play. I bring experience from solo, chamber, and orchestra work, and I keep lessons upbeat, organized, and fun. If you want a teacher who is patient, reliable, and truly in your corner, I would love to work with you.
