About Michael
I am a caricature artist with 4 years experience drawing caricatures at events such as birthday parties and weddings. People respond very well to my friendly outgoing personality, and I have a natural gift for communicating with people, especially children. I have degrees in illustration from Pratt and the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

I first discuss with the student what they want to get out of the lessons. Each student is different, but my focus is on specific techniques, such as how to get a likeness, what features to look for in a subject, and different ways to draw those features. Depending on the student, conversation might also include how to interact with your subject, pros and cons of different materials, and career advice.
