About Elija
Hi, I’m a motivated and patient maths tutor who recently achieved a Grade 5 in Higher Maths. Having completed my GCSEs not long ago, I understand how maths is taught in schools today and the areas students often find difficult.
I want to teach because I know how important confidence is in maths. I believe that with the right support and clear explanations, every student can improve. My goal is to help students feel more comfortable asking questions, strengthen their understanding, and make steady progress at their own pace.

I achieved a Grade 5 in Higher Maths and offer support for students up to Year 9, starting from any level. As someone who has recently completed GCSE Maths, I understand how topics are taught and the areas students often find challenging.
My approach is patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence. I aim to make sure students understand the method and the reasoning behind it, working at their pace and revisiting topics whenever needed.
My goal is to help students feel more confident and comfortable with maths while making steady progress.
