My passion for science will make learning physics, chemistry, and math enjoyable and relaxed.
Methodology
My teaching approach is tailored to each individual, as I am firmly not a proponent of the “one size fits all” approach. In addition, some folks, of course, will require more than one approach to fully understand some topics, and that’s perfectly fine - and normal! - too.
Background
I am an amateur archaeologist from my days in Sociology/Anthropology in undergrad; a lawyer from my law school days; and a chemist/biochemist from my graduate school days. And then...I’m also Mom to a high school senior and have tutored her every step of the way. I am passionate about science education, and I believe that a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere makes learning and “getting it” (having that lightbulb moment when it all makes sense) so much easier!
