My commitment and dedication over the years is to see the progress and advancement of my students learning though time, patience, proven strategies, communication and encouragement along the way. My passion for reading and spelling is dear to my heart and my success is the student's success at the end. I love to talk with my students years later and hear how awesome they are doing with reading, writing and spelling.

My teaching and tutoring are focused on the needs of the student. How does the student best learn and what motivates the students to learn? We will have student-centered discussions where the student will be at the center of the learning process so we can dive deep into the content. We will focus on literacy, reading material that interests the student, it's very exciting to see my students read a book or story that is compelling and thought-provoking. Building that relationship with my students is extremely important for the student's academic success and my students knowing that they have someone that supports them throughout the learning process makes a positive impact.
