About Emilee
I am a college graduate with a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Japanese Studies. I have worked at the Prefreshman Engineering Program for two summers teaching and tutoring groups of 25+ students in both basic Python programming & mathematics. I have also been tutoring since high school.

The first step is to get a general understanding of what areas the student wants to focus on for the tutoring period. For example, if the student is struggling with Pre-Calculus or Calculus then we'll figure out if they need assistance with derivatives, integrals, or another section of the course. Then for each session, we'll work on each section of the course until the student is comfortable with that section. Then we will move on, either on that day or the next meeting. If the student expresses a lot of concern for a specific section that was previously covered we will revisit that section.
