About Emily
I am an experienced and qualified maths teacher with a 1st in a Maths degree from Exeter who is passionate about helping young people learn maths and to encourage a love of the subject.
I currently work in a private preparatory school and specialise in Common Entrance and GCSE examinations but have previously worked in secondary state schools and throughout my career have worked with ages 7-18.
After my degree I started tutoring in person while being a teaching assistant and have continued this through the beginning of my teaching career.
Throughout the last few years I have become very capable teaching remotely through Covid and have done so since, helping many young people pass their exams with flying colours.
